Recognizing this gap, Cynthia Hauer set out to form a business centered on the concept of standardizing data management practices and enabling organizations to maximize their data assets.
Located in Huntsville, Alabama, Millennium Data Management (MDM) was founded in 1999 by Ms. Hauer with the charter of setting the standard for excellence in data management and business process reengineering. MDM provides quality, innovative solutions and training to government agencies and private industry, empowering them to meet enterprise data management goals cost-effectively and efficiently, maximizing the value of corporate data assets. MDM's focus is to improve and standardize the status and practice of data management, while assisting DM practitioners to contribute their talents to their organizations. MDM partners with clients throughout the globe, in both the small business and the Fortune 500 sectors.
MDM is engaged in the development of new policy and guidance for Data Management through continuous learning modules for the Defense Acquisition University, to be used in the institutionalization of new DM practices and standards throughout the defense community, and in industry. We are innovating the role of data management by extending its range to the enterprise architecture realm – defining and providing the business rules for data use that make the enterprise dynamic, meaningful, and robust for users and developers of data.
